The final leg of our travels ended on Friday. I wonder how we even got home considering this mama and daddy are so sick! Regardless, we made it! AND we only left behind Jackson's Batman mask and his ONLY PAIR OF SHOES!! How did we leave his shoes? Well, I only mentioned five or six times before we left that Jackson needed to find his shoes. He said that he didn't want to put them on for the car ride (which is fine). BUT, they still needed to make it INTO THE CAR!! They did not. At least Mamawk knew where the were and now they are in the mail heading our way!
This mama and daddy are both fighting some major virus that has us both struggling to take care of two kiddos. Friday night, we thought Jackson was coming down with it too, but so far, he seems just fine. Now if we can just kick this so we can enjoy the next week that daddy is off from work.
We got home late and went straight to bed. On Saturday, Jackson and daddy worked on the K'nex Atomic Coaster. It was definitely a challenge. And it turns out that we are missing four key pieces so it is not totally functional after nearly two days of putting it together! #OneUnhappyDaddy
The kids then opened the Santa sack that was left for them while we were gone. They got a few more toys, including two superhero puzzles. One of the puzzles (100 pieces) Jackson can do all by himself and needed no assistance. The second puzzle is a 1,000 pieces and Jackson says he needs help with it.
