Fall Festival 2014.

 The 93rd West Side Nut Club Fall Festival was this week.  In my adult life, I have only missed the Fall Festival twice -- and both times, I was practically in labor or only two short weeks from having a baby!  So fairly good reasons for missing it!  Mom says we missed it one year as kids, but I don't recall that actually happening.  :)

We took the kiddos on Thursday afternoon for lunch.  Audrey was willing to eat anything that we put in front of her. Jackson -- not so much.  Thursday night, the Fonner sisters hit up the festival again for dinner.  Friday was a complete rain out.  We didn't want to risk getting out there and then getting poured on with six kids that are five and under. 

We ended the 2014 Fall Festival with one last trip on Saturday morning.  We took the kiddos to the pet parade, which was supposed to start at 9am, but really didn't start until 10am.  (A control freaks nightmare!)  It was short and sweet.  We got there and let the kiddos (and the mommies) have a donut from the Donut Bank!  Yum!  And then after the parade we walked around some and had some lunch.  And topped it all of with a monster ear (or three!)
