Each week, Jackson has to complete 60 minutes on Lexia. Lexia is the school system's core reading program. The kids move at their own pace and Jackson finds himself in competition with one of the little boys in his class. They are constantly trying to beat each other to the next level. There are 17 levels, we believe and both Jackson and his friend are on level 10. It's a great way for Jackson to learn how to the use the computer (and mouse and keyboard), as well as, enhancing his math and reading skills. He's one smart little boy, this one. And we are so fortunate that he LOVES school.
He actually was sent home from school yesterday with pink eye and was so upset that he couldn't go to school today. I think he hates to miss out!! There are definitely worse things in the world!
